Adding Teachers to RightPath


Each time you add a new teacher to School Tool, use the Teacher Management option to add new teachers to RightPath. Navigate to:


Utilities> User & Class Management>Teacher Management

Click the “Add” Button and Select “Teacher” from the drop down.




Fill in the blanks and make sure that the three check boxes are marked off.  Click “Save”.  This teacher has now been added to RightPath. 



If the class has already been created, you can add it to the teacher’s account now. Select the correct radio button to designate if the teacher is the primary or secondary teacher.  Select the class from the list and click the right pointing arrow to add the class to the teacher’s account.



Adding Students to RightPath

Each time you add a new student to School Tool, use the Student Management option to add new Students to RightPath.  You will use the same process as adding a teacher but select ‘Student’.  There are a few more fields to fill in data for the student.  Navigate to:


Utilities> User & Class Management>Student Management


Click the “Add” Button and Select “Student” from the drop down.  Fill in the required information.  You will need First Name, Last Name, Username (you are using email addresses), password, school, district user ID and any other data you require in the fields below. Make sure you click the three check boxes.   Next, click the “Save” button at the bottom of the pop up to save this student.



As long as the class has already been created, you can search for the class as we did above on the teacher record, select it and then click the right pointing arrow to add it to the student’s schedule. Click the “Return to Search” link at the top of the screen to return to the search page.


Adding Classes to RightPath

Each time you add a new class to School Tool, use the Student Management option to add new classes to RightPath. You will need to navigate to:


Utilities> User & Class Management>Class Management


Click the “Add Class button”.



Fill in the necessary data and check off the two check boxes shown and click the “Save” button.



After you save the class, you can add the students to the class by typing in a student name in the search box, then select the student and click the right pointing arrow to add them to the box on the right.


You can also add a co-teacher by searching for the co-teacher in the box below. Select the co-teacher and click the right pointing arrow to add that co-teacher to the class.
